The Women's Issues Information Centre (WIIC) is a project of the Government
of Lithuania and UNDP. The objective of the project is to ensure that women's
and gender issues remain high on the national agenda, at both policy and
operational levels. The WIIC has been established in order to promote and
advocate equal rights and opportunities for women and men. One of its main
aims is to collaborate, disseminate and exchange information with governmental

a Training Kit on gender portrayal. The project aims to enhance awareness
and promote more diverse and equal representation of gender on television.
Its goals consist in producing an audiovisual Training Kit which: illustrates

R- GAATW tinteste sa asigure respectarea drepturilor femeilor supuse traficului si protejarea acestora de catre autoritati si agentii. Strategia sa este aceea de a implica in toata munca femei obisnuite. Principalele lor obiective sunt: sa imbunatateasca sprijinul practic acordat persoanelor traficate si munca de aparare a acestora la toate nivelurile; sa construiasca aliante cu organizatii internationale la toate nivelurile in scopul consolidarii si utilizarii instrumentelor cu privire la drepturile omului existente astfel incat sa includa problemele traficului de persoane; sa lupte pentru o noua definitie a traficului de persoane si pentru dezvoltarea standardelor umanitare pentru tratamentul persoanelor supuse traficului; sa promoveze si sa faciliteze cercetarea in probleme legate de traficul de femei. women in all work. Its main our objectives are: To improve practical support
to trafficked persons and advocacy work at all levels. To build alliances

the existing human rights instruments to address trafficking issues. To
campaign for the new definition of trafficking in persons and for the development
of humanitarian standards for the treatment of trafficked persons. To promote
